“I have pretty much left my living room bare because I have no idea what to do with it. Lately it has become very depressing to say the least and I wish to change it. My sofa and loveseat are chocolate brown color, but I want to decorate using bright colors. My color choices vary but my favorite colors are orange, yellow and coral, so I would like to incorporate at least one of them in my new change. I am also into colors of India, if that makes any sense (like deep reds, greens etc.) I want a fun, but cozy, inviting room. A mix of bright and warm is okay as well. This is my first time ever decorating anything, so any help or suggestions would be great.”

"How can I camouflage a ceiling beam that appears in the middle of the open-plan living room and kitchen? Under the beam, it is designed to place the kitchen counter with the sink. In the photos you can see, the water pipes on the floor. My basic concern is, that the counter will not be placed exactly under the beam but 50 cm in front of it"
