In RGB (Red, Green, Blue) color model red, green and blue are the primary colors. The combination of any two primary colors produces complementary/ secondary colors which are cyan, magenta and yellow.

Strawberry red is a rich bold colour that stimulates conversation. You should match it with proper paint colour, so that it will not overwhelm your room.
A very good paint colour choice is light taupe. It calms the red down and creates a comfortable atmosphere in your room. You can choose accessories in brown and cream colours.
