" I want to remodel my bathroom but I cannot find a solution for the bathroom design. The bathroom is 2.25m long and 1.90m wide. The door that is 2.0 m high by 0.80 m wide is in the middle of the short wall. I want to install in the bathroom a floating vanity 1m long, 0.45 m wide, a new shower 1.20m by 0.80m, a cabinet and the washing machine. I would be happy with your answer."

Our recommendation

Take notice that in a bathroom with these dimensions you can only place narrow washing machine.

Furthermore we considered that the drain location is near the right wall.

"My girl’s bedroom is 2.50m wide and 6m long. The window is on the narrow wall of the bedroom. Could you please help me come up with the furniture layout? "

Our recommendations
If you need to place furniture in a long and narrow room you have to use tricks that will fool the eye regarding the dimensions of the room and alleviate the awkwardness caused by the room’s shape.

"What color to select for the glass of the backsplash in my kitchen? The cabinet doors are made of Bakelite in the color of sand. I would also need advice on the wall color. I would like to paint both the kitchen and the living room with the same color.

Our recommendations:
An opaque or translucent milk glass (milky white or colored) is a classic choice that fits with almost all the fabrics, furniture styles and decorative items. However you might also opt for a more contemporary solution, like for example for a glass with a print on its surface.  

Below, you can see a few color combinations of the wall and the glass of the backsplash, that fit with both the door cabinets and the brown sofas.

In relation to the color of the walls (both in the living room and the kitchen) we recommend a light tone like the off-white color with a sense of blue, green or beige. You can also highlight an element or a surface by painting it with a darker tone or with an opposite color.
