INTERIOR DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE
We present two more residences opened to the public. You can observe their design philosophy and realize the different concepts of the architects.
House in Pylaia
Designed by E. Karioti (2008)
The uncompromising design flexibility and freedom regarding the house layout, and the austere beauty of the facades give the house a unique modern style.
The raw concrete leaving visible the traces of timber formwork, the glass panels and the wood paneling of the facades are combined perfectly with the steel frame.
The materials and the honesty of the construction revoke a sophisticated Brutalist architecture.
From another perspective, the element of water, the pool in direct contact with the housing, the element of nature, the garden located in close relationship with the house and the simple geometry of the residence volumes are reminiscent of the incomparable architecture of Tadao Ando in Greek landscape.
Two storey residence in Panorama
Designed by N. Nanos-Taf62: architects (2006)
A representative example of contemporary style.
A welcoming space which offers comfort and creates a pleasant mood offering simple, understated elegance with clean lines and textures, artwork on the walls and sculptures in appropriate positions, each piece stands out for its uniqueness.
The furniture is in simple lines and curves without frills.
Branded furniture (the LC-4 chaise longue by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Periand and the wiggle chair by Frank Gehry) in conspicuous places gives off its uniqueness.
The fabrics are made of natural fibers in neutral shades.
Smooth wooden floors highlight successfully both the space and the furnishings.
