"Color" has long been regarded as one of the most potent tools in the art of interior design and house decoration, capable of transforming a room into an immersive environment. Color is one of the most effective methods to improve a space that has many flaws. Here are some typical problems that you can solve by using color creatively on both the walls and the ceiling.

Problem 1: the ceiling is too low.
Solution: Low ceilings can make a place feel claustrophobic. To assist with this issue, paint the ceiling a lighter color than the walls. This will almost definitely give the impression of height. Another excellent trick is to paint vertical stripes on the wall or to use striped wallpaper.

Problem 2: The ceiling is too high, and the room is cold.

Solution: This is a great opportunity to choose a modern, vivid and "exotic" color such as tropical blue, glowing red or deep chocolate. While you can paint many things with this color, it's important to keep in mind that these colors will clash if you apply them on the walls excessively. So just pick one wall to paint with this color. Otherwise the overall result could be overwhelming.

Solution: Paint the walls and the ceiling with light cool tones such as light blue or pastel colors. The room will feel fresher and more cool.

Solution: If your space is feeling unconnected, the best choice is to paint all surfaces with the same color. You can also highlight a particular wall by painting it with a darker tone. Add also a decorative element, such as a vase or a pendant with a high-contrast color.
