"My house is about sixty square meters. I have a hallway about 10 sqm with no windows and I want to use it as a living / dining area. What are my options in furniture and paint colour selection?”

Our recommendations
We have represented your space according to your description on its size. We made the hypothesis that there are three doors; one is the entrance and the other two are interior doors leading to the rest of the house.
We have arranged a small living area in one corner and a small dining area on the opposite corner. Opposite the living area we placed a wall-mounted TV set.

Colours
We suggest a pale shade of lilac on the walls, which opens up the room and make it seem more spacious. Paint the ceiling a lighter tone than the walls to add height to the room.
Furniture
Select lightweight furniture with stable upholstery in light gray and a glass coffee table.

For the dining area select transparent table and chairs with linear frame and fabric in a shade of lilac, avoiding multi-colour scheme.
