The clock, as an object or concept has inspired designers, artists and poets from all over the world. Moreover, clock is placed in the most prominent place in a room, so it has to be well-designed and in coordination with the overall style of the room. - The Unfinished clock by Thelermont hupton. This object is an unusual version of a classic clock. The clock is only the top half, so in order the handles to fully rotate the clock has to be placed at the edge of a shelf or other horizontal surface.

- The About time clock / Designer: Sander Mulder. This clock reveals the passing of time by simply rolling around the desk. However, the clock does not display the exact time, only the about time. It tells, 'it's about six o'clock' or 'it's almost seven now'. The slow but constant, almost meditative motion allows you to relax and maybe even forget about time for a few minutes.

- The Continue time clock/ Designer: Sander Mulder. On this clock, two out of the three pointers rotate around another pointer, instead of the central point on the clock face, as with traditional clocks. The resulting kinetic artwork, is a fully functional clock that continuously changing its shape while the pointers are still read as with any traditional clock.
- The Picto Graphics wall clock by Rosendahl/ Designers: Steen Georg Christensen & Erling Andersen. One of the most minimal clocks, where one of the handles is replaced by a simple dot.
