Dining table measurements according to the number of diners.

To eat comfortably, an individual needs a table area of 60X40 cm. 

You can determine the size of the dining table by calculating how many people you plan to seat around the table. Sometimes dining table dimensions may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. 

Lighting: The ideal distance from the table top to the light is 60cm. 

Round Table: Typical measurments

4 people: 0.90 - 1.20 m

4-6 people: 1.20 - 1.40 m

6-8 people: 1.40 - 1.80 m

SQUARE TABLE

A square dining table is functional up to 4 diners. 

4 people: 0.95X0.95 m up to 1,20 X1.20 m. 

RECTANGULAR TABLES

Rectangular tables take up most of the space. Ractangular is the most common shape for tables. 

4 people: 0.90 X 1.20 m

4-6 people: 0.90 X 1.50 m

6-8 people: 0.90 X 1.95 m
