“In my living room I have a 3.50m wide sliding patio door. We like panel curtains but we are concerned if they allow plenty of natural daylight to penetrate the interior space. The house has an intensive elongated shape and since there are no other windows it has very little sunlight. I am wondering if the house will be very dark with panel curtains."

Panel curtains usually are stretched from floor to ceiling running along a special track. Due to their austere aesthetic they fit perfectly into modern, minimal spaces.

Regarding the possibility of reducing the sunlight, you should keep in mind that panel curtains come in a wide variety of fabrics. This means that you can select thin fabrics that allow light penetration into the interior space, ensuring the necessary privacy at the same time.

You can also combine panel curtains with classic curtains to control the amount of shading you want to achieve.
