Reader’s question

"I have attached you the floor plan of my living room and kitchen. The kitchen pass has bar stools on the kitchen side. It is 1.80 m long, 60cm wide and 96cm high. I would like a corner sofa, a dining table (preferably round) and a place for TV. I need help with living / dining room layout. Thanks in advance."

Our recommendations

We place on the back side of the kitchen pass, a TV stand incorporating a DVD player, CD and DVD storage and shelves. Opposite we suggest a corner sofa with a coffee table and behind the couch a large artwork on the long wall which defines the living room area.

We have no idea of how high the kitchen pass is to propose specific TV furniture. Even if the pass is relatively low a proper TV stand can be fitted harmoniously, as shown in our layout.

The round dining table is placed in the back corner of the living area opposite the house entrance. We leave in your choice the credenza position against one of the walls near the dining set.

We mention that the recommended layout can be applied no matter what the room decorating style is, either classic or modern.
