Reader’s question
"In my small bathroom in size of 1.20 m width x 1.20 m length I would like to make a storage area for the vacuum cleaner, the ironing board and shelves. In the WC I would like to install a wall hung toilet and a wall mounted basin. At the end of the bathroom there is a window. Could you suggest me how to have the storage solution and get natural light to the WC through the window at the same time? I was thinking of a glass block wall to allow light from the window in the WC."
Our recommendations
We propose to create an area 60cm wide as a small storage room where you can place a small closet. You can build a structure with sliding glass panels either sandblasted or printed in an aluminum frame.
In this way WC will have access to natural light.
You can build a small glass block wall, but both you will lose space as it’s of greater thickness you will lose space as its thickness is greater than the aluminum frame construction, and you can’t hide things behind unless you install a door opening to the storage space.
