Every December Pantone reveals a colour that will be the main one of the year after. The last year has been the one of the Emerald nuance, a delicate green that represented (and wished) growth, renewal and prosperity.
This year, the one that has been choosen is Pantone 18-3224 Radiant Orchid, a subtle shade of purple that, as the administrator of Pantone Color Institute Leatrice Eiseman said, “encourages creativity and originality, inspiring confidence, joy, love and wealth”.

Radiant Orchid and its shades themselves, from old rose to plum, will be then the main colours of 2014: the keys to work out the trends of the world, both in fashion and in design.
Radiant Orchid is a vivid and romantic colour that matches perfectly with olive, tightens up natural nuances such as grey and balances strong ones such as yellow.

Alma Design, as usual, has hastened the trends with the three products Zahira, Estrosa and Wonka.

ZAHIRA

ZAHIRA, designed by Stefano Sandonà, is the perfect union between innovation and functionality. Because of it’s practical and beautiful essence, it fits in dinamic spaces such as restaurants, pubs, offices and meeting halls. Zahira can be fitted with some accessories too, from the armrests to the spinning structure or the system to hook the lines. Zahira’s family offers a cart too, to easily carry everywhere all the chairs.

WONKA

WONKA, designed by Nicola Cacco, is a stackable chair made of beech and painted metal. The seatback is available with two different decorations, which make Estrosa the ideal choice to furnish common spaces with a fresh and informal touch indeed. This peculiar characteristic, complementary to the seat’s simple and geometrical look, makes Wonka a precious design element, a symbol of the made in Italy it’s impossible to ignore.

ESTROSA

ESTROSA, designed by Rizoma Design, is the name of a family composed by a chair, a bench and a stool, invented to fit well both in contract and private spaces. The structure, made of steel and aluminium, gives it a lively and modern look, full of personality. Its unique structure let the light reflect on its surface itself at every change of position, lending the chair a new identity from time to time.
