This folding technique will give an air of luxury and elegance to your dining table. Inside the pockets, you can place silverware, chopsticks, dried flowers or a small gift for your visitors.
1. Fold the napkin in half.
2. Fold again in half, longwise. The napkin is folded into quarters. Rotate the napkin so that the free corners are at the top right.
3. Pick the first corner and roll it from the upper right corner toward the lower left. Flatten the roll.
4. Lift the next corner and roll it diagonally down until it reaches the first band. Alternativelly, you can simply slip the corner of the second layer under the first roll, forming a band of about one inch wide.
5. Fold the third corner backward, forming a third band equal in width with the first two.
6. Fold the sides to the back.
You can stuff the pockets with silverware, dried flowers or a small gift. This folding technique can be made with only one or two bands.
