"I have a two-storey house and I want to divide it, into two seperate appartments. But what can I do with the empty space under the stairs. II am not planning to pull down the stairs"

Stairs serve both as functional and morfological elements in a space and they can be functional even thought they are not used as a way to move to the upper levels. 

The integration of stairs that are not in use, depend on:

- The shape of the stairs 

- The function you want to organize under the stairs.

Possible uses and functions are the following:

The space under that stairs can be converted into a chest of drawers, a closet, a cellar, etc.
