Wallpapers come in a large variety of styles, patterns, colors, materials and designs. However, before opting for the ideal wallpaper you should first decide on which walls or other architectural elements you’ll apply the wallpaper. These are the most common option:
- You can put wallpaper on all the walls in a room. Instead of painting the walls with a flat color you can opt for a stylish wallpaper. If you think that the result will be too confusing to the eye you can select a monochromatic pattern or a pattern in soft tones.

- You can make a strong design statement by covering the ceiling with wallpaper. With the addition of an impresive pendant lamp, the ceiling will function as the main focal point of the room.

- You can put wallpaper on just a single accent wall, for example behind the bed or behind the sofa. The result is more dramatic if the wallpapered surface is large enough, without nothing on it.

- You can draw attention to the architecture of a room by covering with wallpaper one or more building elements, like for example an arch or a column.

- If you have tiles or decorative stones or bricks on the bottom of the wall, you can install wallpaper on the top of the same wall.

- You can create strips with paint and vertical pieces of wallpaper. To avoid the room feeling overly busy you should stick to a monochromatic scheme or you should pick a color from the wallpaper and use it as paint color.
