"I am partly renovating my house because my two now-adult sons need separate room. I am wondering if it might be possible to create a toilet and how the space between the bedroom and living room could be arranged so as to benefit of extra storage space or to create an extra bedroom satisfying the needs of both my sons. I attach a floor plan to help you."

Creating extra bedroom

Since both your sons are now adults, you could consider the possibility to create an additional room, so that each one will have his own space. So you can create an additional bedroom in the living room area.

We do not know the exact location of the living room windows; you may need to move one of the windows to be located within the new room to be naturally ventilated and illuminated. You will also need to create an additional opening opposite the main entrance.
